NORCROSS, GA. - Madison School of Healthcare at Ashworth College has announced its 2018 graduation will be held Aug. 4 at Cobb Energy Centre in Atlanta. Students, alumni, family, and friends of the online healthcare school and its sister schools Ashworth College, PCDI Canada, and James Madison High School are invited to attend the all-day event. Graduates who have completed all academic requirements by May 31, 2018, may walk for their diplomas.
“It is so important for graduates to celebrate this milestone and our commencement ceremony is a terrific way to do it," said Ashworth College President Rob Klapper. “The school work may have been online, but our faculty and service teams supported these graduates throughout their studies. We are thrilled to celebrate right alongside them. Last year, 1,600 graduates and friends joined us from all over North America and we hope more will attend this year.”
The ceremony will include a commencement address by David Nour, author, speaker, and CEO of The Nour Group, Inc. Nour is an internationally recognized expert on building better relationships for a more meaningful life. He has shared his insights with individuals and companies like Disney, IBM, and Hilton Worldwide as well as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Fast Company among others.
“David has an inspirational life story. I think he can be of great encouragement to our graduates as we send them off into the next phases of their lives,” said Klapper “Our purpose is to empower students to achieve their aspirations by breaking down barriers to meaningful and relevant education. We invited David to give this year's commencement address not just because of his powerful message, but also because he is a phenomenal example of someone who has overcome barriers in his own life. He's achieved great success after immigrating to the U.S. from Iran with no money and no English-speaking skills."
In addition to the ceremony and celebration, photographers will be available for professional portraits and videographers will be onsite to capture graduates and families who wish to share their own inspirational stories.
