“The healthcare industry is experiencing tremendous growth - it’s expected to have more employment opportunities than any other sector between 2014 and 2024,” said Rob Klapper, President of Ashworth College. “Madison School of Healthcare grew out of the need to prepare students to reach these new career opportunities as well as meet the needs of employers seeking highly-trained medical professionals.”
Madison currently offers more than 25 in-demand healthcare degree and career training programs with additional programs in development. Most recently, Madison began accepting applications for its new bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) program for registered nurses. The RN to BSN program prepares students to become leaders in a complex healthcare system providing high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care. Building upon the registered nursing skill set, the program integrates professional development, critical thinking, quality improvement, safety and various soft skills to foster professional practice.
“There’s never been a better time to work in the medical field,” said Cathy Greenberg, Director of the Madison School of Healthcare. “Students and working professionals of all ages are enrolling in our programs to quickly advance to the next level of their career. It’s exciting and inspirational to watch them set new goals and succeed.”
